According to the police, Bilal Pasha, the chief executive officer of the Bannu Cantonment Board, shot himself on Monday(27th of November 2023) at his official home. They said that upon learning of the occurrence, they went to Mr. Pasha’s home and discovered him laying in a pool of blood. They further mentioned that the body was sent to the Bannu District Headquarters Hospital. It was informed by SHO Raza Khan of the cantonment police station that an investigation had been begun to determine if the officer had committed suicide or been murdered. He said that the dead suffered a head wound from a gunshot.
