A national carrier’s spokesman has stated that Pakistan International Airlines is on the verge of shutting down, having canceled nearly 300 flights in the last 10 days owing to fuel shortages and financial difficulties. Because to Pakistan State Oil’s (PSO) decision to stop supplying fuel due to unpaid debt, the airline is possibly facing its biggest crisis ever.
Since October 14, the airline has been forced to cancel 322 flights, 134 of which were on international routes, due to the shift.
